Jade Williams

Jade moved into the Marketing team in 2023, having joined the business as an Executive Assistant in 2022.

Why did you choose recruitment as a career?

Previous to my role within the marketing function, I worked for a large global recruitment business, supporting consultants specifically within the Engineering sector.

I’ve held a few different positions over the 6 years I’ve worked within the recruitment industry and can still say I’m passionate about engaging with and supporting energetic and driven individuals in identifying great talent. I think the most qualitative traits we can have and be defined by are the skills we learn throughout our lifetime and how we show up and make others feel.

What do Procurement Heads’ values mean to you?

Our values are exceeding expectations, rewarding relationships and doing the right thing.

I think those values are naturally part of our business because we are passionate about what we do and are confident in delivering it.

And our purpose is to deliver recruitment as a professional service, what does that mean to you?

The recruitment industry has been known to have some negative connotations previously and I think it’s unfair to sweep all recruitment businesses under that umbrella.

I think the difference is being experts in our sector, building relationships and partnering with professionals to deliver outstanding service.

What inspires you?

My daughter inspires me to be the best and truest version of myself.

I think making decisions and pursuing what we want and need, rather than what is on offer is the most inspirational thing we can do to set an example for the next generation.

What 3 words would you use to describe your professional self?

Creative, solutionist, strategist.

What are some of the biggest highlights since you joined Procurement Heads?

Moving into our new office in Hedge End where it really feels like a professional home!

Surprisingly, going on a rib boat ride to the Isle of Wight and being towed by the coastguard after breaking down and getting soaked followed by an amazing meal at The Hut. It was one of those dyer moments that was really funny thinking back!
