A graduate entry level opportunity to join Procurement Heads as a Trainee Recruitment Consultant and build a fantastic career.

This is an opportunity to break into the recruitment industry and work in our Interim Practice, the most successful and strategically important Practice in the business. This role will see you work with a whole host of organisations from a variety of industries and sizes. 

You don’t need prior recruitment experience as we can train skills and give you experience. What you do need is a commercial outlook and an understanding of the economy and how businesses operate.

The Trainee Recruitment Consultant role: 

The Trainee Recruitment Consultants in our business are the bedrock of our success. 

Reporting to the Head of Practice and working with an experienced team of Managers and Consultants you will be working to help fill live job opportunities with our clients. 

You’ll be required to: 

  • Manage candidate portfolios. 
  • Interview new applicants. 
  • Highlight suitable candidates for roles. 
  • Ensure all their details are updated. 

As you build your knowledge and experience and become a subject matter expert, you’ll consult with candidates and provide help and advice on the job market, employer insights, CVs and interviews. 

After you’ve gained valuable industry and recruitment insights and experience, you’ll have the opportunity to progress your career into a Recruitment Consultant where you’ll work in collaboration with clients, taking responsibility for your own mandates within the practice.

As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant, we aren’t looking for you to have any prior recruitment experience. 

What we are looking for is someone with the right attitudes and behaviours. 

Our current Trainees have tenacity, commitment, and resilience in abundance as well as a growth mindset. 

They have the ability to build relationships and communicate effectively – and above all else – a willingness to learn and be coached. 

You’ll need a positive, can-do attitude and the motivation to help support the business in achieving its ambitious goals, which in turn, provide you with a successful career platform.
