Technical Supply Chain Manager

Procurement Heads is working with a leading organisation that provides world-class procurement support for organisations across the globe, to recruit a Supply Chain Manager.
  
As a Supply Chain Manager, you’ll be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of tactical and strategic procurement including bids and projects across the public and private sectors, including law enforcement, aerospace, and government.  
  
This is a hybrid opportunity with there being an expectation of 2-3 days a week from its Hampshire or Surrey based sites.
  
Due to the nature of the role, you must be able to obtain SC clearance.
  
As Supply Chain Manager your key responsibilities will be:

  • Developing and maintaining strong stakeholder and supplier relationships
  • Collaborating with technical stakeholders to interpret, develop, and articulate their requirements
  • Supporting bids and authoring supporting artefacts including customer-facing plans and proposals 

Qualifications and experience:

  • Experience of working with relevant categories including electro-mechanical, electronics, and technical services 
  • Extensive commercial and contract management knowledge
  • Demonstrable track record of developing and maintaining stakeholder relationships
  • A proven track record in running and supporting bids
  • Category or portfolio management experience including the implementation of supply chain strategy
