Sourcing & Supplier Relationship Manager – Property & FM

I’m working with an established, market‑leading Financial Services organisations who are looking for an experienced Property Sourcing & Supplier Relationship Manager to join its Procurement function.
  
This newly created position will see you working closely with senior stakeholders and property leaders, to play a key role in delivering value across a diverse property portfolio by leading procurement activity, managing strategic supplier relationships and ensuring compliance across all property‑related contracts and services.
  
This is a hybrid role, with two days per week in office (London or Kent)
  
Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead property procurement activities, including market analysis, tender specifications, RFPs/RFIs and the development of procurement papers for senior stakeholder approval
  • Manage in‑life supplier relationships, conducting regular reviews across cleaning, M&E, catering, specialist property services and wider FM suppliers
  • Oversee a varied portfolio of property‑related delivery frameworks and contracts with a cumulative annual value exceeding £10 million
  • Support the creation and administration of construction and property contracts using JCT standard forms, incorporating organisational terms and amendments where required
  • Lead commercial and contractual negotiations for new engagements, renewals and work orders
  • Retender term contracts in accordance with strict procurement procedures, policy and legislation, liaising closely with legal counsel throughout

  
Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in property procurement within corporate or regulated environments, with strong expertise in contract negotiation and supplier relationship management
  • Proven background in technical supplier management across construction, maintenance, facilities management and technology‑based property services
  • Sound knowledge of contract and statutory requirements including Health & Safety legislation, CDM, building standards, JCT forms and industry‑standard construction contracts
  • A proven track record managing a broad range of property‑related contracts, including FM, construction, refurbishment, utilities, M&E and technical service providers
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to influence and build long‑term, strategic supplier relationships
