Engineering Senior Procurement Partner & Regional Lead
Location: Poole (2-3 days a week)
Contract Type: Full time
Salary: £62,000 – 80,000 + Benefits 

Overview

As a senior member of our Procurement team, you’ll lead the transformation towards a best-in-class procurement model. You’ll partner with engineering and regional teams, manage a high-performing procurement team, and deliver innovative, solution-focused strategies that achieve significant value for money.

You’ll act as a trusted commercial adviser, influencing decisions at the highest level, shaping a complex procurement pipeline, and embedding governance and compliance while driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead procurement operations and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Manage tendering, selection, and negotiation processes to secure commercially astute contracts.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers, championing a business partner model.
  • Drive supplier performance through SRM and incentivisation models.
  • Support regional teams as the single point of contact for procurement.
  • Monitor market trends and provide expert insight on pricing and socio-economic risks.
  • Deputise for the Procurement Lead when required

What We’re Looking For

  • MCIPS qualification (desirable), degree desirable.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record of delivering savings and value-driven strategies.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders and act as a trusted adviser.
  • Resilience and agility to manage change and challenges.
  • Experience in engineering procurement (desirable).
