Overview
We are seeking an experienced IT Procurement Business Partner to lead strategic procurement initiatives and deliver a best-in-class commercial model. This role is pivotal in driving procurement transformation, ensuring value for money, and embedding innovative practices across IT and regional operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted commercial advisor to senior stakeholders, influencing decisions and supporting major IT programmes.
- Lead procurement strategy for IT categories, managing tendering, selection, and negotiation processes to secure commercially astute contracts.
- Drive continuous improvement and digital transformation within IT procurement, including licence optimisation and cost reduction.
- Champion a business partnering model, building strong relationships across functional and regional teams to enhance service delivery.
- Monitor market trends and provide insights on pricing, compliance, and socio-economic risks.
- Support regional procurement teams and deputise for the Procurement Lead when required.
- Develop procurement capability through training, coaching, and stakeholder engagement.
What We’re Looking For
- Qualifications: MCIPS; Degree desirable.
- Experience:
- Proven track record in IT procurement with strong commercial acumen.
- Demonstrable success in delivering savings and value-driven strategies.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to influence at senior levels and act as a trusted advisor.
- Resilience and agility to manage change and drive performance improvements.
