Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the sourcing process for specific categories, including contract award / management
  • Build and maintain relationships with key business stakeholders, both internally and externally
  • Identify new opportunities to improve efficiencies / drive strategic ability
  • Ensure robust contract management processes
  • Manage and mitigate commercial and contractual risk
  • Conduct regular analysis and report back into the business to drive improvements where possible

Key experience required:

We are looking for an individual with a proven track record, including experience in end to end strategic sourcing. We are looking for professionals who are hardworking and self-reliant with a flexible attitude to challenging situations. Further skills and experience required are as follows –

  • Confident, articulate and tenacious
  • Able to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Proven excellent contract negotiation skills
  • High level of commercial awareness
  • Entrepreneurial flair and skill
  • Ability to drive change
  • Experience within a global or regional procurement function
  • University degree or post-graduate qualification, (Business, Biochemistry or Engineering would be advantageous). Masters degree & MCIPS qualification is a plus
  • Ability to travel
