A market leader in the Media & Events sector are hiring for a newly created Procurement Manager. The business are on a very impressive global expansion running events and media initiatives for some of the most exciting brands all over the World! Having recently set up new international offices, the expansion journey for the Procurement team is next on the agenda.

Position Overview

Working closely with the Head of Procurement, the Procurement Manager will be responsible for managing a team of Procurement Coordinators whilst establishing procurement best practice across the business. A core essential of this role will be to build, manage and nurture Supplier relationships globally, also ensuring effective delivery, contract adherence and relationship development. 

Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities

  • Manage the daily operations of the procurement processes whilst leading a team of Procurement Coordinators
  • Ensure compliance with the Responsible Procurement Policy
  • Lead on Supplier Relationship Management initiatives
  • Review and negotiate all supplier contracts across the business
  • Actively ensure supplier KPI and delivery adherence 
  • Play a key role in representing Procurement with key internal stakeholders 
  • Volume reporting to determine team resource requirements
  • Play a key role in projects with stakeholders to ensure alignment of delivery and expectations
  • Be a true advocate of and drive sustainable sourcing
  • Ability to adapt to business requirements for larger projects
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risk, anticipating supply chain challenges
  • Drive best practice in Supply Chain and deliver continuous improvement


Skills and Experience

  • Strong Supplier Relationship Management experience
  • Experience with the Procurement of or in Events and Media
  • Comfortable working in dynamic, team-oriented, fast-paced environment
  • Experience drafting and negotiating contracts
  • Implementing change and managing complex risk
  • Line management experience is desirable 
  • Project and delivery orientated skillset
  • An advocate of Sustainable Sourcing practices
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good organisation and time management skills
  • Excellent numeracy skills and attention to detail
