Procurement Manager

Procurement Heads' Consumer team is delighted to be partnered with an exciting brand within the travel space to recruit a new Procurement Manager.

This is an exciting time to be joining the company embarking on a bold transformation and expansion programme, looking to conquer its market area.

With this expansion, the company is in the process of bringing procurement entirely in-house and consequently has made a number of pivotal hires.

As Procurement Manager, you will support the Head of Transformation develop the procurement strategy of the company, and be responsible for implementing robust and diligent souring processes across a variety of categories.

Being a greenfield project, this is an excellent opportunity for a highly ambitious induvial that is eager to springboard their career and get as much scope and exposure as possible.

As Procurement Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Developing strong relationships with business stakeholders and key suppliers across the business to collaborate and identify sourcing activity and opportunities to the Head of Transformation that drives performance and results
  • Supplier and spend data analysis to provide insight to business stakeholders and the Head of Transformation for procurement challenges, strategies and plans
  • Business partnering with budget holders and contract managers to determine requirements and recommend strategies and plans with the opportunities that enable business objectives to unlock commercial value and operational efficiency and address challenges
  • Designing and executing strategic sourcing process, including identifying potential suppliers, tender process management, negotiating agreements and commercial terms and documenting and presenting internal recommendations
  • Liaising closely with legal, safety and finance stakeholders to ensure diligence, compliance, risk mitigation and budget control in third-party supply selection and contract management
  • Supporting Heads of Department and contract managers with effective key supplier relationship management
  • Supporting the company’s sustainability agenda in terms of third-party goods and service supply
  • Ensuring auditable contractual document control processes, including accurate and current contract database and supplier lifecycle management
