Somerset based, this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Procurement & Contracts Manager to take ownership of Group wide procurement processes, supplier due diligence and performance oversight.
You will be collaborating with Stakeholders from across the business; delivering a first-class service in effective management of Group supplier contracts and a commercial focus that achieves consistent value for money. Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining completeness of procurement contracts for the Group
- Maintains, updates, and improves contractual records for all live contracts
- Provides commercial insight and support on contract tenders or renegotiations to ensure the Group achieves value for money and attains cost savings where possible
- Owns the 3rd party oversight framework and consults with relevant business owners to ensure appropriate initial and ongoing due diligence is performed on our suppliers and that they continue to perform in line with their contractual obligations
- Works closely with the Legal and Risk & Compliance teams to ensure regulatory standards (e.g. GDPR, Data Protection, SYSC) are met and maintained and impact assessments are performed
- Ensures all contracts of material importance undergo appropriate legal review before conclusion
Experience Required
- Previous experience of relevant procurement and contract management systems and processes; ideally within the Financial Services, or similarly regulated environments
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of financials
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage workload to meet expectations of multiple stakeholders
- Demonstrable experience working to your own initiative and being a self-starter
