Location: Hybrid (50% office-based in Southampton, 50% remote)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Procurement & Contract Manager to join a dynamic and growing procurement team. This role focuses on Geospatial & Technology procurement projects, managing the full lifecycle from strategy development to contract delivery and supplier relationship management.
You will play a key role in ensuring compliance with public sector procurement regulations, driving financial savings, and delivering added value through strategic supplier engagement. Your ability to analyse market data, develop sourcing strategies, and influence stakeholders will be critical to success.
  
Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end procurement and contract management within designated category areas.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organisational objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with Public Sector Procurement regulations.
  • Build and maintain strong stakeholder and supplier relationships.
  • Analyse market trends and supply risks to inform sourcing decisions.

  
Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience managing complex, above-threshold tenders in a public sector environment.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement strategy, spend analytics, and reporting.
  • Ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders effectively.
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to work.
  • Part-qualified or working towards CIPS (or equivalent experience).

Package

  • Salary: £49,297 – £57,513 (pro rata)
  • Performance-related bonus (up to 10%)
