Procurement Analyst

Procurement Heads has been engaged exclusively to recruit a Procurement Analyst for a healthcare organisation.

Procurement Heads is fortunate enough to be working exclusively with a leading healthcare organisation to recruit the position of Procurement Analyst to its growing procurement team.

The company is one of the largest healthcare providers in England with exciting growth plans and private equity investment.

You’ll be reporting to the Procurement Manager who has more or less set up the procurement function, introducing a structure and taking the work off the various functions, working with them across the organisation.

The team currently procures everything from consumables, chemicals, uniforms, food, fresh supplies, utilities, and agency labour.

As part of their 2023 procurement sourcing plan their new tenders include food (fresh & frozen), consumables, chemicals and time/attendance software as well as the five new home openings next year.

The procurement team’s focus moving forward is to buy ‘smarter’ on the home level.

This role first and foremost will be, in conjunction with the current procurement analyst, producing reports on what the individual homes are spending and how that compares to the industry average.

With the intention that this information can be delivered to the operational stakeholders so they’re ensuring compliance with the approved supplier list.

Secondly, you’ll be assisting with running the new tenders and setting up the documentation that accompanies this.
