Principal Consultant

As a Principal Consultant – Procurement, you will take a lead role in ensuring successful client-delivery within IT Category Management, Strategic Sourcing, Contract and Supplier Relationship Management and developing major transformation projects. You will be a proven problem solver, used to working with senior stakeholders and influencing an organisation to make strategic changes.

This role requires an experienced procurement professional with a strong background in hardware, software and telco category management, who has the ability to lead major client projects and has a track-record of delivering results.

 

You will ideally be able to demonstrate experience of:
  • Developing innovative IT category strategies through the use of leading category management methodology
  • A track record of developing, maintaining and managing client, senior stakeholder and supplier relationships.
  • Have worked in a complex and changing environment with demanding business objectives and in a highly competitive market sector.
  • Sourcing across complex IT categories within different industry sectors
  • Being an innovative, self-starter and results-orientated as well as understands adding value
  • Direct and indirect people management

 

This role will include travel and therefore will require an individual with flexibility to work across the multiple locations.
