Procurement Heads is working with a large and well-regarded Insurance business, to recruit an IT Procurement Manager on a 12-month contract.
Overview
Responsibility for a business-critical portfolio of IT Procurement projects, with particular focus on complex global Cyber Security, Software and IT Professional Services initiatives.
You will be tasked with developing and delivering procurement, strategic sourcing and category management solutions, as well as operating as an internal procurement business partner to key IT & Technology stakeholders across the organisation.
Key Skills
- A depth of experience across a variety of IT Procurement Category areas, encompassing software and platforms, with the ability to lead and manage end-to-end IT sourcing projects autonomously.
- Prior experience of operating in a “business partner” capacity, providing commercial guidance to the CIO function.
- Demonstrable Procurement experience gained in a complex, global, ‘blue-chip’ environment (Financial Services/Insurance sector background also advantageous).
- Ideally, MCIPS qualified, but this is not essential.
Location, Remuneration & Timeframe
- Hybrid working – multiple UK office locations to choose from, with expectation to be office-based twice per week
- £75-85,000 plus £5,000 car allowance and benefits package
- 12-month fixed term contract
