Interim Procurement Manager

Procurement Heads' Interim team is recruiting an Interim Procurement Manager for a leading consultancy business.

This Interim Category Management opportunity will play an integral part in a massive infrastructure programme within the UK. 

This project is approaching the negotiation stage and working on a very tight timeline.

To be successful in this Interim Procurement Manager role you will need:  

  • Experience as a (Quality) Procurement Manager is required for construction and M&E.
  • The ability to work and deliver in a pressurised and time-sensitive environment whilst maintaining a high level of diligence is essential. NEC 3/4, excellent stakeholder engagement skills and a strong Public Sector background are particularly attractive for this role.
  • Experience in the procurement of capital equipment/heavy machinery and the ability to liaise with the technical stakeholders is required for the capital equipment category.

The project is in the early phase and needs an experienced Interim to pull together the procurement strategy.

Again, NEC 3/4 experience would be great, high levels of stakeholder engagement and the ability to work to time-sensitive deadlines are key. 

The daily rate is up to £500 with the role(s) being deemed INSIDE IR35.

Hybrid working with Midlands/remote locations and initial duration of 3-6 months.
