Procurement Heads is working with a fast-growing, PE-backed business operating in a niche digital technology market, supporting their recruitment of a Head of Group Supply Chain on a 12 month contract basis.
Overview
As the lead role within our client’s Supply Chain function, this position takes ownership of a small team during a period of business growth and investment. Requiring a combination of strategic leadership, process improvement/creation and “hands on” tactical support, the successful candidate will support both immediate performance and long-term growth.
Overseeing Planning & Analysis, Procurement, Inventory Management, Logistics, and Reverse Logistics.
Key Skills
- In depth understanding of and experience within supply chain, procurement, inventory management, S&OP, distribution, and reverse logistics.
- Proven experience leading supply chain teams in both conventional and consumer-driven environments.
- Expertise in managing global supplier relationships, contract negotiations, and performance management.
- Skilled in driving efficiency through lean or agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of ethical sourcing, environmental compliance, and reverse logistics.
Location, Remuneration & Timeframe
- 12-month fixed term contract
- £70-80,000, plus holiday and private family medical insurance
- Flexible hybrid working arrangements, including visits to offices/sites across several UK locations
