Procurement Head’s Industrial team are looking to recruit an experienced Group Head of Procurement for a FTSE 100 parent company with offices in central London.
Our parent company client consists of 35+ operating companies within technology and engineering. The Group Head of Procurement will assist the autonomous operating companies in effective procurement strategies covering spend in relation to raw materials, indirect spend and technology.
This is an exceptional opportunity to influence the procurement strategy across a diverse and interesting range of successful companies.
As Group Head of Procurement you will be responsible for;
- Leading procurement strategy and execution in a decentralised model.
- Drive value creation through supplier relationships and procurement processes.
- Oversee the initiative to enhance and encourage collaborative purchasing across
- Focus on optimising technology spend, including SaaS and IT services.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders across all operating companies to encourage aligned procurement with business goals.
- Lead sourcing projects across global locations.
- Establish strong supplier relationships and negotiate favourable contracts.
- Identify cost-efficiency opportunities and value enhancements.
- Manage group-wide RFQs and procurement initiatives.
- Provide consulting support to operating companies on procurement matters.
- Lead procurement for Group head office and additional group sites
- Develop supplier evaluation criteria and monitor supply chain risks.
- Use market intelligence to guide procurement decisions and mitigate risks.
- Integrate sustainability and diversity into procurement strategies.
- Present procurement performance and insights to the executive team.

Skills and Experience:
- Ideally to have worked in a decentralised group function
- Must be skilled in managing multiple procurement categories and projects
- Have procurement experience covering direct and indirect categories
- Have strong technical IT procurement expertise, with complex and advance contracts.
- Have exceptional stakeholder influencing skills ideally from a non mandated environment
Salary & Benefits:
- Salary of between £70k- 90k depending on experience
- Company bonus of up to 40%

- Hybrid working ( 3 days a week London or company sites)
