Commercial Services Business Partner

This is an exciting opportunity to join an interesting, arms-length, Re-Insurance organisation as a Procurement & Commercial Services Business Partner within the Legal Risk & Governance team. You will play a key role in delivering Procurement and Commercial Services, ensuring compliance and driving value across the business.
  
Role & Responsibilities

  • Build strong, trusted relationships across the organisation to deliver joined-up procurement and commercial solutions
  • Ensure adherence to procurement policy, legislation, and best practice
  • Lead regulated, strategic, and high-value procurement activities, as well as support below-threshold procurement
  • Conduct supplier assurance, due diligence, and market analysis to optimise value and quality
  • Support contract management activities, implementing best practice and maintaining consistency
  • Administer eSourcing systems, contract registers, and provide management information to support decision-making
  • Act as a Control Owner within the Risk Management Framework, ensuring robust controls and compliance

  
Skills & Experience

  • An excellent communicator with the ability to build relationships at all levels
  • Highly organised and able to manage contract workloads independently
  • Innovative and adaptable, with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Proven track record of managing large tenders and procurement processes end-to-end
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, including at senior leadership level
  • Experience with eSourcing and contract management platforms
  • MCIPS qualified (or working towards) with relevant procurement experience
  • Public Sector experience essential and Financial Services desirable
  • Familiarity with reporting tools such as Power BI
