This organisation is keen to secure a Category Manager to lead the implementation of best practice Procurement across People Services categories including HR, Travel and Fleet.
You will be responsible for executing category strategies that increase value and building effective supplier relationships to meet the needs of the business. You will work and engage with the wider procurement team and local business partners across Supply Chain to drive change and ensure service improvement with an emphasis on getting more for less.
The ideal profile will have a degree qualification or equivalent and a good level of experience in a similar role, ideally from an FMCG background. Procurement professionals with excellent stakeholder and supplier relationship management skills are desired along with the commercial awareness and ability to negotiate with suppliers, and the determination and mindset to drive through transformation and change.
