Category Manager HR

Procurement Heads is delighted to be partnered with a leading construction & utilities organisation, to recruit an HR Category Manager.
  
This organisation has a large global footprint, with over 100,000 employees across several continents and operates across multiple sectors.
  
You will be joining the centralised procurement team, acting as the subject matter expert for HR spend with core focus on Recruitment, Occupational Health and Training. This is a pivotal role within the centralised procurement function, offering support across a diverse and geographically dispersed organisation.
  
They are looking for a proactive individual who is confident in bringing new ideas to the team. You will be working on a wide range of diverse fast-paced projects.
  
Flexible hybrid working from Bristol, London or Newcastle offices.
No set office attendance but ad hoc requirement to attend sites based on business requirements.
  
As HR Category Manager, your key responsibilities will be:
  

  • Leading the development of HR related procurement strategies in close cooperation with business operations and locally based operational procurement stakeholders
  • Supporting operational entities in the implementation and monitoring of supplier policy on a local level
  • Champion the integration of innovative solutions within the HR Services category
  • Maintaining and publishing regular and accurate reports demonstrating the effectiveness of strategic sourcing arrangements and contribution to the group profit improvement / efficiency plans
  • Working to and supporting supply chain deals, working with procurement department to ensure the BU achieves the best in terms of supplier arrangements

  
Qualifications and Experience:

  • Being capable of contributing to technical discussions specific to the HR Category
  • Experience of stakeholder management and influencing
  • Experience in developing category strategies for multiple business streams

  
Salary and Benefits of the HR Category Manager role:

  • Salary – Dependant on Experience
  • £5,200 car allowance/company car
  • Up to 5% matched pension
  • Up to 5% bonus
