This innovative and dynamic organisation provides fully managed services including procurement, equipment and the supply chain for a high-profile public-sector organisation.

With an annual turnover of circa £90 million and in excess of 170 staff they manage the procurement of an additional circa £400m of annual spend for this organisation.

They are looking for a Procurement/Category Manager; someone who is dynamic, wants to progress, has procurement aspiration. Your key responsibilities will be as follows:

  • End to end managing the supplier relationship (internal stakeholders); within theatres sub specialities and managing all the non-pay spend whilst working with the senior category managers at cost reductions.
  • Nursing staff have high confidence in people who know their product. So understanding the pathway of the stakeholder is crucial. Clinical spend £130m – you would be looking at £7-10m. Theatre managers, consultants etc., suppliers – stakeholders.
