The history of Metropolitan goes way back to the Windrush generation which last year celebrated its 70 year anniversary, and actually it brings us all to work everyday remembering what we’re part of.
The reason that we exist, it brings us together with a common sense of purpose and that is delivering value, social value to both our residents in the houses we build and maintain for them, but also the communities within which they live.
Even in Procurement, we try to translate some of those core values from our organisation into how we deliver more for our residents, how we save more money so that we can invest elsewhere. How do we get a better deal, how do we demonstrate to our residents and resident-facing colleagues that we are getting the best deal.
